| Job Summary: |
** This position is scheduled to last at least through the Spring of 2010. If work permits, the company will then move to either Central Oregon or Northern California. If work in those areas is not present, this position will remain in Colorado through the Spring of 2011. **
Requirements:
* 2 years of verifiable experience operating a Feller Buncher.
* Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
Job Duties:
* Operate a LX 830 Tiger Cat.
* Cut trees according to prescribed specifications.
* Bunch trees according to type and place in skid trail.
* Pick up and bunch downfall when necessary.
* Know positional bearing relevant to unit maps while cutting.
* Operate machinery in a clean and effective manner.
* Prevent over-cuts, cutting of leaved trees, scar trees, or violate other contract rules.
* Report machine failures and hazards immediately.
* Attend monthly safety meetings and adhere to all safety policies.
* Calculate area, circumference and volume.
Hours:
* To be arranged upon hire.
* 60 - 70 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.
Pay:
* $18 + per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
* For employees that work 30 days, employer will reimburse fuel costs for traveling to Eagle, CO.
