Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of accredited EEG / EP training. Proof of current BLS certification within 6 months of hire. Must meet eligibility requirement for CNIM board examination and obtain certification within 1 year of hire. Minimum of 1 year supervised employment under qualified EEG / EP / CNIM technologist.
Employer Preferences: R.EEG T or R.EP.T, or CNIM.
Job Duties: Perform all EMG and Evoked Potential modalities for monitoring in surgery. May perform EEG monitoring in surgery. Perform Evoked Potential (EP)for inpatients and outpatients. Perform EEG and EMG for inpatient surgery monitoring. Use MS office products.
