Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.Valid driver license.
Preferred: Master's Degree in Public Health or related field.
Duties: This is a senior leadership position that directs the operations of the Public Health (PH) Division under the general supervision of the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department Director. The PH Division has over 23 employees and a budget of $2,131,539. Directs the planning, management and evaluation of public health services including environmental health, bioterrorism and emergency preparedness, health promotion, maternal child health, WIC, communicable disease investigation and follow-up, HIV, Ryan White and immunizations including influenza. Supervises public health managers. Assesses overall program needs. Responsible for oversight of all division budget activities. Responsible for promoting coordination and collaboration of PH Division programs and staff with other Divisions and community partners.
