| Job Summary: |
** This position is scheduled to last at least through the Spring of 2010. If work permits, the company will then move to either Central Oregon or Northern California. If work in those areas is not present, this position will remain in Colorado through the Spring of 2011. **
Requirements:
* 2 years of verifiable experience as a Delimber.
* Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
Job Duties:
* De - limb, cut and sort logs.
* Work as a team member.
* Work in a variety of terrain.
* Use topping saw to cut specified logs to length.
* Use butt saw to square up cut end when necessary.
* Place logs into deck and sort by species according to mill sort specifications.
* Operate according to quality control standards.
* Maintain Delimber in top operating condition.
* Report machine failures and hazards immediately.
* Maintain safety log sheet and turn in monthly.
* Attend monthly safety meetings and adhere to all safety policies.
* Calculate circumference, lengths, and volume.
Hours:
* 60 hours per week to be arranged upon hire.
* Monday through Saturday.
Pay:
* $18 + per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
* For employees that work 30 days, employer will reimburse fuel costs for traveling to Eagle, CO.
