Job Summary:  Requirements: Bachelor degree, OR Associate degree and 2 years experience, OR 4 years directly related experience. Computer experienced to include Microsoft Office 2000 or later, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and data base. Experience working in or knowledge of benefit and entitlement programs, and experience to interview and counsel people with disabilities about those programs. Have and maintain valid driver license to operate company vehicle, employer to approve driving record. Pass background check, and chemical drug screen.

Also applications will be evaluated based on: Demonstrated knowledge of various work incentive options available to consumers with disabilities. Ability to investigate, verify, and document information from a variety of external sources efficiently and accurately; interpret federal, state, and local laws, regulations and administrative codes about public benefits; communicate complicated information. Basic math skills, with an emphasis on creative problem solving and analytical thinking.

Job Duties: Provide consumers with disabilities to seek or maintain employment with referrals to appropriate community agencies for assistance in their pursuit of employment, provide general information about Work Incentives, and gather relevant information from consumers to provide person specific information. Conduct analysis of how benefits, entitlements, subsidies and services are affected by working, including identification of work incentives. Develop a plan to assure adequate supports are in place for managing changes to benefits and use of work incentives. Travel to conduct county wide outreach.

Wage: $14 - $18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with benefits available.

Hours: Part time, approximately 20 hours per week; day shift.
