Job Summary:
Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: USA-Oregon, Hillsboro
Intel Corporation?s internal construction department manages over $1B of construction volume per year in numerous locales, nationally & internationally, including facilities ranging from Semiconductor Factories to High-performance Data Centers to Office and Lab projects.
Project Manager for construction projects including semiconductor fabrication facilities, support buildings, process equipment (tools ? install & demo) and systems. Project Manager will oversee Scope, Schedule and Budget for given project and will interface with contract design, construction, and estimating resources, as well as internal Intel organizations to enable facility system design, construction, start up and tool installation. You will also be responsible for managing the Intel project team, dependent on span of assignment. Efforts will include definition of scope, completion of detailed design, development of project budgets, schedules, and safety requirements, facilitating project commissioning activities. You may be required to frequently travel at times for design, supplier, and construction interface.
This is a RCG position.
Required:
You must possess a Bachelor of Science or 1-2 years experience in an Engineering Discipline or Construction Management .
Master of Science degree in an Engineering Discipline or Construction Management. Desired.
The following minimum experience obtained through relevant job/internship experience(s).
- 2 yrs Reading and interpreting construction contract documents
- 1yr Knowledge of building and other relevant codes, environmental and construction law 2 yrs desired
- 1 yr problem-solving skills, including problem-solving methodologies, research strategies, logical reasoning, critical analysis of information and cooperative learning
-1 yr experience in demolition and removal of semiconductor tools.
-1 yr Experience at managing construction, and startup of facilities associated with semiconductor Industry
Preferred
Specific type of experience will be considered for specific positions.
- Ability to work within a variety of management levels, between the owner (Intel) and the contractors, as well as outside clients and vendors
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
