Job Summary:
Title: Signal Integrity Intern
Location: USA-Oregon, Hillsboro
As a signal integrity engineer intern, you will use simulation software tools to model and predict the electrical performance of PCB and package interconnects with new system-on-chip silicon for digital television and network media products. Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Development, maintenance and implementation of simulation decks to predict signal quality, timing, and power delivery performance of system interconnects.
Assist in laboratory measurements to correlate simulation predictions of high speed digital interfaces.
You should be working towards a Master of Science degree or a Ph.D. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar degree. Additional qualifications include:
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Course work in circuits, electromagnetism, system engineering, computer engineering and/or transmission line theory.
Experience with modeling and simulation analysis tools such as Ansoft and HSPICE is preferred.
Good basic analysis skills with hands-on lab measurement and debug experience are preferred.
Ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of nine months.
