Job Summary:
Title: Circuit Design Engineer
Location: USA-Oregon, Hillsboro
This position is with the Digital Circuits Technology Integration (DCTI) group within the Portland Technology Development's Advanced Design organization. This group works closely with both process and product design teams, to deliver capabilities to optimize and integrate digital circuits with Intel's leading edge process technology. In this position, your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Performing transistor-level circuit design and characterization, and delivering collateral for digital design, including standard cell libraries
- Performing analysis of the impact of technology changes on circuits and making recommendations for technology development
- Developing methodologies and guidelines for the design, characterization, and verification of digital circuits to facilitate their optimization for the technology
- Developing advanced CAD capabilities, including physical design automation such as place & route for future products
You should possess a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or in a related field.
Minimum qualifications:
- Demonstrate experience in the areas of CMOS device electronics and in digital circuits
- Demonstrate experience in programming and scripting skills
- Demonstrate experience with VLSI CAD tools
