REQUIREMENTS:
* Associates Degree
* At least 5 years Network and Computer Systems Administrators experience
* Linux Administration experience
- Knowledge of RPM packaging, distribution, performance tuning, and system design.
- Experience with administration of authentication, http services, database, and version control in a Linux environment.
* Hypervisor Administration:
- VMware Server directly related to position, but experience with Xen and VMware ESX, ESXi, LabManager or Workstation is applicable.
* Technical Documentation:
- Skills to review specifications and publish design, as well as user instructions.
PREFERRED:
* Python
* Bacula administration
* Scripting - bash / perl
* WAN replication applications
* Subversion Version Control
* Fedora Core / RedHat Administration
* Open Source Development
* VMware Virtual l Infrastructure 3
* SAN Administration - Raw Device Mapping
* Trac Administration
* MySQL (replication experience desirable)
* Glassfish / Sun 1 App Server Administration
* Support Automated Build and Testing application development.
JOB DUTIES:
* Maintain Bacula Backup procedures
* Install server hardware in data center.
* Aid with QA workstation creation / issues
* User permissions and account administration.
* Infrastructure services maintenance / deployment - e.g. nis, nfs, http
* Maintenance of YUM RPM repositories for developer workstations as well as VMware VMs.
* Script writing, RPM creation, software updates.
* VMware Server deployment troubleshooting
* NetApp SAN Administration - nfs / fcp
* Documentation and General End User Support (developers and testers).
