Job Summary:
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
* 2 years software application support experience
* Proficiency with personal computers and software tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio
* Superior problem solving skills and a unique combination of customer service, communication and technical abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive phone presence and unwavering commitment to customer service are essential
* Technical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities
* Attention to detail, administration, and demonstrated organizational skills
* Make determinations quickly and work well under pressure
* Enthusiastic, positive minded, and service oriented
* Adapt to change and work effectively in a dynamic work environment
* Willingness and availability to work overtime occasionally
* Pass a pre-employment Drug Screen and Background Check
PREFERRED:
* Familiarity with finance applications; end-user of Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, Expenses, or other Finance applications
* Knowledge of database structures and software security set up
JOB DUTIES:
* Assume a junior level position on the Finance System Services team within the Finance Division and work with various business customers
* Support PeopleSoft financials, Provide tier one support on enterprise wide applications (PeopleSoft requisitions), data queries and reconciliation, and employee expense reports
* Represent Finance on corporate project teams and work on process improvement initiatives
* Use technical learning, good critical thinking and excellent communication skills
* Provide finance system support to the business user group
* Run month-end close processes, provide reconciliation on daily and monthly data feeds, add new fields to the chart of accounts, run ad hoc data queries and provide other tier one duties
