Job Summary:  REQUIREMENTS:
* BS Engineering (or equivalent technical degree) or 6 years equivalent experience
* Electrical and fluid systems experience
* Thorough understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems troubleshooting
* Self Starter - must be able to work and interface with clients on your own
* Team player
* Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
* Detail Oriented - field work, cleanliness controls and administrative documentation of all work performed and parts expended
* Computer skills required Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. CAD and Oracle experience a plus
* Valid Driver's license with Clean Driving record
* Must be driven and able to provide an exceptional customer experience.
* Maintain professional personal appearance, conduct, and behavior with all customers, colleagues and management.
* Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and standard of ethics at all times by setting a strong personal example.
* Adhere to all company internal policies, procedures and applicable laws.
* Always work in a cost conscious manner, and not exceed authorized costs or established budgets without approval.
* Utilize company resources judiciously; provide accurate and timely reporting of all travel and work related expenditures according to company expense policy.
* Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
* Skill to clearly and concisely communicate the failures encountered in the field to Field Service Systems Engineers, as well as the ability to interface professionally with customers directly on the status and/or next steps in the service of the equipment.
* Exceptional professionalism, with special emphasis on achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction for the discriminating customer.

JOB DUTIES:
* The Senior Field Service Technician will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, working from company's Hillsboro office.
* Each Service Technician will play a vital role in installing and maintaining 5kw hydrogen fuel cell generators at residential and commercial properties.
* Service Technician via Field Service Systems Engineers will also assist engineering in identifying the root causes and corrective actions necessary for field failures.
* Ensure field installations are performed with the highest quality and cleanliness
* Coordinate with Project Manager on start-up/Grid Tie inspection.
* Perform initial unit start-ups
* Preventive and corrective maintenance as required in a timely and professional manner
* Routine periodic data collection as identified for each unit by management
* Respond to service requests as required
* Troubleshooting systems down to root cause of failure or symptom.
* Ensure all parts usage is reported administratively
* Change out components
* Communicate with owners or owner's representative on system status and or expected repair/replacement window.
* Participate in internal and external training.
* Complete all other tasks as requested by management.
* On call time will be required at times and will be administered according to company policy.
* Identify, troubleshoot and resolve potential problems with the units in a timely and professional manner.
