Job Summary:
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Accounting required. MBA in Accounting or Finance and CPA certification is highly desired.
* 3 years of direct, relevant, and increasingly senior experience gained within a CPA firm with manufacturing clients or a direct manufacturing background (IC Fabs, high-volume board production, other photovoltaic manufacturers, etc.).
* Demonstrable success developing and managing productive relationships within a CPA firm, client production managers, other peers in finance, accounting, purchasing, etc. and leveraging these relationships toward achieving goals and accountabilities effectively.
* Experience in Excel required along with familiarity of ERPs and reporting tools.
* Ability to adapt to company's extremely fast moving and entrepreneurial internal culture, including a non-hierarchical structure, cultural diversity and differences stemming from German ownership and significant numbers of non-US peers within the team, and working within a true 'start-up' business, despite being a member of a company with over 2K employees and $1B US in revenue.
* The ideal candidate would have interest in financial statement forecast modeling and researching IFRS/GAAP for correct solutions to issues that arise.
* Job requires some travel and to have or obtain a valid passport.
JOB DUTIES:
* Report to the Head of Financial Controlling; responsible for managing financial controlling, reporting and support for our management team in Hillsboro, OR and to company headquarters in Bonn, Germany.
* Forge partnerships with the production controlling team, the finance and accounting team, purchasing and others to ensure effective and timely internal controls, financial forecasting, materials/inventory validation, financial reporting, etc.
* As a key member of the finance controlling team you will drive understanding and awareness of the financial impact of line decisions, manage or develop financial controls and forecasting tools.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Drive tracking and reporting of financial results, budget, WIP analysis for finished and unfinished products, inventory utilization, etc.
* Ensure clear and timely communication of results and challenges throughout the team and to management.
* Responsible for forecasting and analysis of company financial statements.
* Act as group Lead, providing leadership for the team in partnership with the Head of Financial Controlling.
Participate in group management including hiring efforts, performance and skills development among peers, and acting as the group's liaison within the business on key initiatives, etc.
