Requirements:Current Oregon RN license. Two years recent experience in an acute care or community mental health setting. Requires a valid driver's license, automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation.
Job Duties: The Registered Professional Nurse, under the direction of the Home Health Director and on order of the physician, is accountable for direct and indirect quality of care for adult and elderly patients, according to the individualized mental health needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Practice. Accepts professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. Coordinates patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship. Upholds the standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality.
