About this jobResponsibilities:
Our client is in need of 6 Chemical Process Design Technician 4 to create equipment and piping designs using 3D software. Coordinate with other piping designers and other disciplines to produce clash free product. Annotate and produce 2D piping plans, sections and details for issue for construction. Some field support activities on the client site.

Duties
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years experience in equipment layout and associated piping design
Candidate should be willing to learn and work in AutoCAD MEP 3D modelling software (MEP 2011 or greater), as well as Navisworks (2011 or greater).
Candidate should have recent experience working in 3D modelling equipment and pipe modelling software such as PDS, Smartplant or Autoplant.
Candidate should be proficient in Autocad 2011.
Must be well organized with strong communication skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Microelectronics experience a plus.
Ability to follow direction and collaborate with other team members.
Execute tasks within budget and scope.
